Did you know? The male deer is called stag, the female is hind and the youngsters are called fawns. Hinds do not carry antlers. The most dangerous predators frightening deer are lynxes and wolves. For fawns foxes and wildcats mean the most significant danger.
Watch it! It is a very graceful animal, its head is short, eyes are big, and the neck is long. Its body is relatively stumpy, the legs are tall and thin and the horns are small and tipped. The kids’ fur is white patterned with black spots. Later on their fur turns into light red and brownish.
