Did you know? This animal is very good at swimming, and very often it submerges when it feels to be in danger, or when it feeds. Marshbuck has a semi-aquatic lifestyle, its long hooves adapted to moving on swampy soils. Bulls are bigger than cows, like most of Tragelaphinis, only bulls wear horns.
Watch it! Bulls and cows significantly differ from each other. Bulls are chocolate brown, whereas the females are bright rusty or nut-brown.
Habitat: It lives in the marshes of the Lake Victoria, the Congo River and the Zambezi-Okavango River water catchment areas.
